Are you a computer-savvy real estate agent?

Nearly all real estate searches and transactions in this area include some element of Internet searching, computer-assisted correspondence and online advertising. Quite a lot of the expertise needed to function as a "computer-literate" agent in this Internet-driven context isn't very difficult to achieve, and will save you and your clients a whole lot of time and money. Being "computer-literate" doesn't necessarily mean performing computer-related tasks yourself, however. There's lots of help out there, but you probably need to understand how to find and evaluate the most appropriate help - including managing websites, creating email lists, printing envelopes, creating fliers, using online market evaluation and listing services, producing client letters and contracts, and using client or contractor databases.

If you are a real estate agent who needs some "fine-tuning" or other advice with respect to leveraging the computer, or you know or are working with such an agent, we can help. For example, we support a Loudoun County computer training company offering classes specifically for real estate agents, at www.WhizKids.com. We can also provide online advice and pointers - simply contact us via email at IngridMyers@aol.com, or directly to our computer support team at Dadministrator@hotmail.com.
